About the event

STORE PROTEIN LONG TERM!


Get hands on experience preparing chicken, using a pressure canner, and seeing how easy it really is to preserve chicken and other meats!


This class will be held at the home of the instructor, Wade Bodell. He is a very experienced food preservationist and works closely with our Area Self Reliance Missionaries and leaders. It will be held in two sessions in order to accommodate more people. About 2 afters after your session is complete, you will need to return to Brother Bodell's home to retrieve your de-pressurized and cooled meat. Feel free to bring a +1 to observe and learn with you. Please, no one under age 12.

  • 7 clean quart-size mason jars with rings and NEW lids

  • Cutting board
